The Microbiology lab offers a comprehensive range of tests which fall into the following four categories:

• Hematology
• Biochemistry
• Immunology
• Microbiology

We offer a number of packages, which are made up of selected tests. Each package is designed for a specific purpose.

The Evangelismos Microbiology Lab remains constantly open from 07:30 a.m to 07:30 p.m every day and on Satudays from 07:30 a.m- 01:00 p.m.

Number and Type of Personnel
Qualified lab personnel staff the Laboratory. The staff includes the Lab Director, which oversees and manages all the lab operations, two chemists and two lab technologists.

Equipment and Facilities
The Microbiology Laboratory has invested in securing the latest diagnostic equipment found only in large hospitals and health centers. This guarantees the quality, reliability and consistency or our findings. Among others, our laboratory has the following equipment:

• For biochemical tests – Vitros 250 by Ortho Clinical Diagnostics
• For Hematology tests – Sysmex SE900 by Sysmex
• For Endocrinology tests – Centaur by Bayer

The Laboratory follows all proven and internationally recognized procedures and is audited by ΕΣΕΑΠ (Εθνικό Σύστημα Εξωτερικής Αξιολόγησης Ποιότητας).

The Laboratory operates during the following hours:

Monday – Friday (7.30–13.00 & 16.00–19-00), Saturday (7.30-13.00).
