Packages
The Hospital offers a number of special medical packages, which comprise of selected tests and diagnostic procedures that have been designed to diagnose specific instances.

The grouping of specialized services into packages, offers cost savings and convenience to the patient. All tests within a package are carried out in one visit and test results are produced simultaneously. All medical packages information is available at the Reception Desks or can be downloaded from our web site.

Payments - How will I be billed?
Before your hospitalization we will help you with any pre-admission certification requirements that your insurer may need. At that time, your intended method of payment also will be discussed.

If you are hospitalized, you will receive a separate bill directly from the hospital for room, board, general nursing care and related items, such as laboratory and radiology services. Your bill will include charges for physicians' services during your hospitalization.

For all in-patients with medical insurance cover, the insurance company will be notified within 48 hours of the commencement of treatment and admission. Evangelismos will handle the claim only if we receive a positive response of coverage. If not, then the patient will have to settle their account at their discharge and claim back from their insurance.

For outpatients, the patient will have to settle their accounts on the day of their visit. If the patient has medical coverage, then they will have to give their claim form to their doctor on the day of their visit to be filled in and they will claim it back from their insurance company.

Hospital charges comprise the following cost elements (where applicable):

  • Accommodation Charges – This charge varies depending on the type of accommodation (day surgery, shared or private room) and your category of illness.
  • Theatre / Procedure Charge – When you have an operation or procedure.
  • Medications and Consumables – Any medication, drips, sutures etc.
  • Surgeons Fees – Anesthetists, Surgeons and Assistant Surgeons.

Uninsured Patients
If a patient is not covered by a medical health insurance, they are requested to settle their account at the time of discharge. The hospital accepts cash, personal cheques and all major credit cards.

Overdue Accounts
All overdue accounts must be settled at the patient’s earliest convenience. All overdue accounts are subject to interest charges.
