Decision to Admit
The decision to admit you to a hospital will likely be made by one of the following:

  • Your Personal Doctor
  • The Emergency Department Doctor in consultation with your doctor
  • An On Call Doctor covering your doctor

How to be admitted?
All hospital admissions must be arranged through the patient’s doctor, who will also inform the patient on the day and time they need to come to the hospital.

Patients are requested to pass through the Admissions Office after their consultation with their doctor to complete an admission form, at least 48 hours prior to admission. This can be downloaded from our web site and completed at home and sent to us. Early completion of the admission documentation will allow for a quick and efficient admission.

On arrival, all patients to be admitted are to report to the Admissions Office, which is located in the basement (-1 floor ) near the accounts department. After working hours, patients are to report to the Casualty Department, which is also located in the basement, for their admission.
