Situated in Paphos, Cyprus, Evangelismos Hospital is a pioneering medical facility conceived and created by distinguished medical professionals with a common concern for public health and human dignity. It is presently the most modern integrated medical facility in Cyprus.

Evangelismos was created in two phases. The first phase, delivered in June 2001 consisted of the Well Woman Centre, the Orthopaedics department and the Diagnostic Centre. The second phase delivered in June 2003 significantly expanded the hospital’s facilities, services and capacity. The hospital features all the latest medical and diagnostic equipment and is staffed by highly skilled, dedicated medical and nursing staff. Evangelismos Hospital was built to EU specifications and complies with all conditions and standards. As from July 2008, we belong to the Hygeia Group.

The hospital presently offers its diagnostic services nationwide and aspires to go beyond the national boundaries. The majority of the hospitals clients are sourced from the Paphos region, although a significant number of patients come from other parts of Cyprus. This is especially the case for the Well Woman Centre, which is renowned for its exceptional diagnostic services and treatments for women.

Evangelismos Hospital has invested in state of the art medical equipment and facilities in order to produce the best possible diagnosis for the patient and to eliminate discomfort and pain during treatment. As a further sign of progressive thinking and foresight, Evangelismos is the first Hospital in Cyprus to develop its own customized Hospital Information System (HIS). The implementation of this system ensures transparency and immediate access to all hospital information at little cost and effort.

Evangelismos Hospital is also involved in training and educational activities relating to health and medicine with an aim to improve awareness among the public and professionals and to make a positive contribution to the local community.
